We’re honest and affordable with our repairs! Moreover, most instruments have a flat rate of $70 which covers many common fixes, so you know the price upfront. As for bigger jobs, we’ll give you a written estimate before we start work, so you’re always in the loop.
Specialized Guitar Maintenance
Our guitar enthusiasts enjoy our expert specialty shop. What’s more. we handle all your electric and acoustic guitar maintenance needs. Indeed, here are some of our specialized guitar maintenance services that ALL guitars need on a regular maintenance schedule.
Basic Tune-Up (Bronze Service):
First, we cut and remove your old strings. secondly, we install a new set of strings, put on the perfect string wind and cut, then tune it. Finally, your instrument also gets a cleaning and polish all for $25 (plus strings).
Deep Clean (Silver Service):
This service is perfect for any fretted instrument (guitars, banjos, mandolins!). As with our Bronze Service, we start by removing the old strings. In fact, by installing new strings that are cut and wound for perfect tension, you’ll find an instrument much easier to play. Additionally, we thoroughly clean the fingerboard and bridge. This includes conditioning the fingerboard with a special mixture of linseed and lemon oil (not polish) as well as the bridge. Finally, we tune the strings and polish the body all up for $50 (plus strings).
Pro Setup (Gold Service):
This is the works! Truly, we include everything in the Silver Service plus we’ll adjust the neck for easier playing. Next, our pros make truss rod adjustments to make sure your neck is straight. Continuing, we’ll calibrate the bridge distance to make sure the all notes sound right. Inclusive, we’ll crown and polish the frets and tune it up. Finally we give it a good cleaning and polish all for $75 (plus strings). We recommend all guitars receive this service at least once per year.
