Teacher of the Year: A Year of Dedication and Excellence
We are thrilled to announce our Teacher of the Year, Josh! This year, Josh has gone above and beyond to inspire, challenge, and nurture our students, fostering an environment where learning and growth are always at the forefront. His commitment to excellence in teaching and unwavering support for students have truly set him apart.
From inspiring performances to helping students overcome challenges, Josh has been a driving force in creating a positive, enriching experience at Irvine Academy of Music. Whether it’s providing personalized guidance during lessons, encouraging creativity, or helping students find their musical voice, Josh has made a lasting impact on everyone he teaches.
As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to see how Josh will continue to grow and inspire our students, helping them achieve new heights in their musical journey!
Student of the Year: Achieving New Heights in Music and Character
We are also proud to honor our Student of the Year, Martin Nguyen!
Martin began his piano journey just six months ago, and in that short time, he has shown remarkable dedication, growth, and enthusiasm for music.
He practices 15 minutes every day, proving that small, consistent effort can lead to big achievements. His progress has been impressive not only in technique, but also in musical expression and confidence.
Outside of music, Martin enjoys playing card games, computer games, reading books, and making jokes—a fun, curious, and creative personality that he brings into every lesson.
His positive attitude and willingness to learn make him a joy to teach and a wonderful example for other students.
Whether he’s tackling new pieces, learning tricky rhythms, or contributing thoughtfully in group classes, Martin embodies the spirit of Irvine Academy of Music. He reminds us all that passion, perseverance, and curiosity are the keys to success.
Looking ahead, we know Martin will continue to shine and reach even greater heights. We can’t wait to see what amazing accomplishments await him in 2026!
