This beginner orchestra class is designed to introduce young musicians to the world of orchestral music. Students will learn basic music theory, note reading, and bow techniques. Through ensemble playing, students will develop their musical skills, teamwork, and a love for classical music.

• Dates: Thursdays – 11/14, 12/5, 12/12, 12/19, 1/16, 1/23, 2/6, 2/13
• Time: 2:20 PM – 3:05 pm  at ICIA
• Grades: 3-4

The program fee of $199 includes comprehensive curriculum materials and instruction for the full 8-week course. There is an additional rental fee for an instrument unless you have one already.

What age group is this program designed for?

The Orchestra program is designed for children grades 3 – 4.

Do I need to purchase any additional materials for my child?

The program fee covers all required curriculum materials, however you need to provide your own instrument or rent one from us.

What are the dates and times for the program?

The program runs on Thursdays – 11/14, 12/5, 12/12, 12/19, 1/16, 1/23, 2/6, 2/13 with classes held from 2:20 pm to 3:05 pm.

I don’t have a violin, viola, or cello.  Can I rent one for me child?
